Adenium obesum, commonly called desert rose, is a thick-stemmed sparsely-leaved perennial succulent that is native to semi- arid, sub-Saharan regions of eastern and southwestern Africa plus the Arabian peninsula. Leathery, spirally-arranged, fleshy, ovate, gray-green leaves (to 4" long) appear at the stem tips. Height: 30-40 CM.
Care: For best results keep Desert Rose (Adenium obesum) plants in high light for 6 hours or more per day. During the spring and summer growing season keep the soil moist, not wet. Fertilize once per month with half-strength 20-20-20.
Watering: Reduce watering in winter and no feeding in winter.
